Terms and conditions for refunds

These Rules govern the refund procedure for services providing CARFAX and AutoCheck reports (hereinafter the “Report”) delivered by the carfax.usacar.help service (hereinafter the “Service”). Placing an order means the Client agrees to these Rules.

1) General provisions

  • Reports are digital goods provided online (link/file/screenshot/data extract).
  • Once access to a Report is provided, the order is deemed fulfilled and the funds are non-refundable (see section 2).

2) Cases when refunds are not provided

  • If the Client has purchased and received a CARFAX or AutoCheck Report (downloaded, opened a link, received by email/messenger, etc.), no refund is issued.

3) Prepayment for multiple Reports

  • If the Client has made a prepayment for more than 1 Report and some Reports were not ordered/received, the Client may request a refund for the unused balance.
  • Refund amount = cost of unused Reports at the actual order price.
  • Where applicable, the amount may be reduced by payment system fees if such fees are non-refundable by the payment provider.

4) If the service was not provided

  • If, due to technical reasons, the Service did not provide a Report (and the Client did not receive it), a 100% refund for such order is issued or, as agreed with the Client, repeat fulfillment at no additional charge.

5) How to request a refund

Send your request via any of the channels

In your email/message, please specify:

  1. Full name or account name;
  2. contact email/phone number used to place the order;
  3. payment date and amount, payment method;
  4. essence of the request (e.g., “refund for 2 unused Reports from a prepayment for 5 Reports”).

6) Review and payout timeframes

  • Initial response — within up to 2 business days.
  • Payout (if approved) — within up to 10 business days to the same payment method used (where technically possible).
  • Funds crediting time may depend on the bank/payment system.

7) Verification and security

  • The Service may request additional data to verify the payment and confirm the unused balance.
  • In case of suspected fraud or abuse, the Service reserves the right to refuse a refund and/or suspend service for the respective account.

8) Currency, fees, taxes

  • Refunds are made in UAH at the crediting exchange rate minus commission.
  • Fees not refunded by the bank/payment system may be deducted from the refund amount (if applicable).

9) Changes to the Rules

  • The Service may update these Rules. The current version is always available on the website carfax.usacar.help and takes effect upon publication.
